Submitting Your Squares

You have two options: 

* You can submit a 13"x13" quilt square top. It will be quilted and pieced together with other quilt square tops.

   OR 

* You can submit a 13"x13" quilt square, which includes a quilt square top, batting, and backing that you've quilted together.   It will be pieced together with other quilted squares. 

If you'd like to volunteer for quilting and/or piecing together a 6' x 6' panel, please contact quiltfordemocracy@gmail.com. 

Please submit up to 4 squares.  If you're submitting more than 1, you can leave them unattached and we'll join them.

Feel free to sign your square(s) -- by embroidery or a permanent marker -- within the 12"x12" message area.  Historically, signing a quilt links the work to community traditions and helps preserve the artist's identity and the quilt's story over time. 

Please print and fill out the Quilt for Democracy Project Form and include it with your square so it can be used for exhibition.
