WHO WE ARE

Pat Hager

Pat enjoyed a long career in the field of accounting and served in multiple roles ranging from bookkeeper to controller/CFO positions in private industry.  In addition, she served 13 years as Treasurer for the Mill Valley Philharmonic and 8 years as Treasurer for the local chapter of the American Association of University Women.

Susan Hardwick

Susan is a Michigan native who has lived and worked in the Pasadena area for over 30 years.  In addition to having a private accounting practice for nonprofits, she's a patron of the arts, has served on the boards of several art-related entities and is currently the Treasurer of the Armory Center for the Arts in Pasadena.

Donna Jaffee

During her varied professional career, Donna was an editor for Pantheon Books, a division of Random House, a writer and editor for the Muppets, and a human resources communication consultant.  Since 2017, her activism has taken a more committed turn, and she has been Chair of Swing Left San Gabriel Valley since 2018.

Elizabeth Kellogg

Elizabeth has been making quilts since high school.  She recently retired from The W.E. Upjohn Institute for Employment Research, where she worked as Executive Assistant to the VP and Director of Research, She was also a copy editor for the Economic Development Quarterly.  She is an avid reader, published poet and recent winner of the Best Art Quilt in the West Michigan Area Art Show.

Mindy Schirn

Mindy has always worked at the intersection of philanthropy, arts, education and strategy, leading fundraising, grantmaking and communications efforts across major nonprofits, foundations, public agencies and the private sector.

Susan Sosin

Susan is a former special education teacher.  She currently volunteers with the League of Women Voters, Swing Left, AVAN (Adelanto Visitation and Advocacy Network) and CLUE (Clergy and Laity for Economic Justice), which does immigration court observations.
